Under the guidance of the Technical Director of the Central Processing Department (CPD), the CPD Operations Manager develops and implements strategic planning initiatives of sterile reprocessing operations. The CPD Operations Manager is responsible for managing all employee relations including staffing, action planning, corrective action, leadership and training. The CPD Manager is also expected to collaborate with fellow managers & colleagues across the hospital in order to ensure policies and procedures are carried out and all departmental goals are developed and met. Qualifications: 5 years+ experience in a central processing setting. 2+ years of leadership experience. CRCST/CBSPD certification required. Central Processing Department (CPD) Supervisor
Evening Shift Reports To: Operations Manager
Responsible for the smooth operation of all functional areas of Central Processing Department. This includes setting work assignments, quality and infection control, interpretation of procedures, disciplining and counseling of employees, and inventory control of all processed supplies. Interview potential applicants; present recommendations for hire to Operations Manager. Counsel, discipline, and evaluate job performance of technical staff. Make out monthly time schedule and daily assignments for technical staff. Direct weekly staff meetings and participate in weekly management meetings. Coordinate the orientation program with the CPD Trainer of new employees and participate in the continuing education program for the department. Monitor in service program; take attendance, participate in question and answer period, etc. Document quality control on various areas of the department. Maintain quality control records. Responsibilities: Develops the framework for an effective staff and student education program to continually improve the knowledge and functioning of Central Processing staff. Reviews and updates sterile processes to ensure the quality and compliance are exceeding internal and external (regulatory) expectations. Ensures all infection control policies and procedures are strictly enforced. Essential Functions:


Protective Services:
