There is a close affiliation with a Boston Teaching hospital, so in cases where patients need to be transferred from the community hospital to the affiliated Boston Teaching Hospital for more advanced care, there are systems in place to make that transition happen quickly.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates competency in overall rapid patient assessment skills.
  • Meets the need of the patient in a timely fashion, anticipates patient needs and initiates interventions based on care standards.

  • Processes specimens for testing.
  • Performs testing on a variety of specimens with frequent computer interaction.
