Clinical Nurse Manager - Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Location: Southern, NH

This position is open because the most recent manager, who helped raise the bar in the Cath Lab at this hospital for the past 9 years, received a promotion into a Director's role.

Position Summary:

  • The Manager coordinates the patient care activities and staffing plan to maintain patient safety.
  • Manages departmental human resources and acts as a transformational leader to assist staff in adapting to change and creates a positive work environment.
  • Serves as a clinical role model in the utilization of the nursing process.
  • Uses effective interdepartmental communications and manages patient placement and flow.
  • Collaborates with educational resources to assess staff competencies and plans opportunities to meet staff learning needs.
  • Mentors new employees.
  • Participates in developing and evaluating departmental quality/performance improvement initiatives.
  • The manager provides oversight of nursing practice to Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab and Radiology Nurses.
  • Manages 4 RN's and 3 Techs.

Position Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate in Nursing.
  • 2+ years of experience in ICU/CCU with additional 1+ year experience in Invasive Cardiology.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience.
  • BLS, ACLS.

Ability to achieve the following competencies within 30 days of hire:

  • IV Therapy
  • Basic Rhythm Interpretation
  • Procedural Sedation and Analgesia

Robust Call Pay:

  • In a 2 week pay cycle - $3/hr for first 40 hrs, $6/hr for next 40 hrs, and every hour after that will be $9/hr.
  • Paid time-and-a-half if called in.
  • Paid double time if you already worked 40 hours.
