Clinical Lab SupervisorDay ShiftLocation: Mount Washington Valley, NH Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance.Our client is a small community hospital that is a member of a larger healthcare system. The hospital is in an area surrounded by mountains and rivers, and a great place to call home if you enjoy four-season outdoor living. Hiking, kayaking, canoeing, ice skating, skiing and ice-fishing are a way of life here. The Clinical Lab Supervisor provides direction and oversight directly through individual contributors for laboratory operations and human resources management, including reviewing all hiring and discipline recommendations. Oversees all technical direction and develops, monitors, and takes appropriate action to improve overall departmental performance to ensure that the operational and strategic goals are met. Ensures training and competency assessments are completed. Manages budget for the laboratory site.Qualifications: Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a similar field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Certification (through ASCP, AMT, HEW, or ABHI) in one or more of the following: MT,MLT, MLS, CLS, CHT, CHS, CG, CT, HT, HTL, ASCP Scientist/Specialist (BB, C, H, M, MB, SBB, SC, SH, SM) required. 2+ years of experience as an MLT/MT required.
